Characteristics

Mahou's Session-style IPA has gained quite a bit of popularity in recent years. This different version is characterised by a light hazy golden colour and an intensely lively head. Citrus aromas such as grapefruit , soft herbal notes, small hints of stone fruits, quite earthy character , with subtle melon notes. On the palate, the hops are a mix of spicy earthy elements, mild botanicals and lemon acidity , while the hop bitterness remains fairly neutral, as you would expect from a low-ABV session IPA. The lightly roasted maltiness, with a crisp core, meets the briskly sharp addition of carbonation, which together give a fresh and refreshing feel.
