Tsapournakos or Tsap(r)onakos is an old grape variety in Velvento. The root of the word is Latin and is related to the image of its ray, which refers to a small plum. It belongs to the Cabernet Franc family. Its aromas suggest black ripe fruit and spices, its body is balanced and has a long aftertaste.
