The 9th Edition of Kilchoman's annual 100% Islay release. This particular expression comes from barley crops in 2007 and 2009 from Islay. This release was matured exclusively in American ex bourbon oak barrels for nine years before being bottled at 50% ABV to give us 12,000 bottles. As with all 100% Islay releases, it has only 20 ppm of peat compared to Kilchoman's usual 50 ppm, allowing the tropical notes from the barrel to emerge.
Glenfarclas 10Years Old is a smooth, light and malty whisky leaving a long, slightly spicy finish. A lovely, delicate whisky from Glenfarclas is recommended as an aperitif whisky. It certainly offers more complexity than you would expect from a 10 year old whisky.
The highly anticipated Teeling Single Malt Irish Whisky is made with 100% malted barley. A selection of five whiskies in wine casks was used for this release, including sherry, port, Madeira, white Burgundy and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Fee Foam is used in drinks that require a shaker, in order to give an attractive and exuberant foam effect to the drink, without the addition of white foam. Simply add 2 drops to your cocktail and shake well until the desired foam effect is formed. Used extensively in citrus based acidic drinks and in drinks that need stirring such as daiquiris, fizzes and sours.

Peychaud's aromatic bitters were created by Antoine Amdee Peychaud in 1795 in New Orleans. A pharmacist by trade, he kept his own shop at No. 123 Royal Street. There he created the 'American aromatic bitter cordial', which he sold as a medicinal tonic. Antoine also served his bitters with brandy and other spirits. Many bars in New Orleans began using it, including the Sazerac Coffee House, which is rumored to have created the Sazerac cocktail by adding Peychaud's aromatic bitter.
Torabhaig is the second distillery on the Isle of Skye which produces a traditional island whisky with peat and long fermentation in wooden tanks and plenty of interaction with copper, resulting in a fruity spirit.
The people at Teeling made history by bringing back whisky distilling to Dublin with their own expression of Teeling Single Pot Still, which was fully distilled in Ireland's capital city - the first time that's happened in almost half a century! Made from 50% malted barley and 50% unmalted barley, it is bottled at 46% ABV with no filtering or additional caramel colouring added.
Distilled at the privately owned 'Kurayoshi' distillery, it is aged in rare Mizunara barrels. Mizunara, or Japanese oak, combines a subtle sweetness, the aroma of aging that tickles the nose with a full and refreshing aftertaste that completes its uniquely exotic profile. A true masterpiece of Japanese art.
