The red wine of the Markogianni label is dry, has medium acidity, a high level of tannins that are often described as 'rough', relatively low alcohol and medium intensity aromas reminiscent of black fruit, leather and spices. It pairs easily with red meats, pasta and cheeses.
A special blend of the Agiorgitiko variety with the native Epirus varieties Vlachiko and Bekari.
The marriage of these varieties creates an interesting bouquet of aromas on the nose and intense complexity on the palate.
